My first own steps as an artist happened in total privacy, as I pursued a different career for a long time and the creativity expressed in my paintings always functioned as great outlet for freedom and passion.
Therefore my approach to art is probably a bit different from other artists. I have the firm conviction that it´s all about the art, not about the artist. The effects of a piece of art lies in the interaction with the viewer and should not be influenced by the artist as a person.
MY ART
My name is Palden von Jungmann, but that’s actually not important for what I do and aim for.
I fell in love with art as a child, always being impressed by large sized pop art paintings and grew up in a very open minded family
a wide range of cultural input.
My large-format originals have a very special aura.
Intense colours and the dialogue of constructed geometrical pattern and forms with random natural forms is key in my works. Combining those two counterpoints in a wild symbiosis to create something completely new is what catches and fascinates me the most.
Giving this symbiosis the space it needs to take effect means for me working with large canvases and not being afraid of white surface.
My paintings do not claim to be perfect and complete, nor to be filled up with deep purposes, but they evoke a positive feeling.
To be able to convey this positive feeling to the viewer easily is the greatest value of art to me.
